Ultrasound

Deep Heating Effects: Ultrasound is used to provide deep heating to soft tissue structures in the body. Deep heating tendons, muscles or ligaments increases circulation to those tissues, which helps the healing process. Increasing tissue temperature with ultrasound is also used to help decrease pain.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation

Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), is the elicitation of muscle contraction using electric impulses. The impulses mimic the action potential that comes from the central nervous system, causing the muscles to contract. The most commonly used applications for electrical stimulation include: pain, inflammation, muscle spasm; healing skin incisions, healing bone fractures, muscleatrophy, and enhancing delivery of medication through the skin.

Kinesiology Rock Taping

Kinesio taping is a rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. Taping can also increase circulation and reduce swelling in an area of injury.

Custom Foot Orthotics

We offer custom foot orthotics that are molded to your feet and help with creating a strong base that supports your body. Although your feet may not hurt, their part in a vastly interconnected system of bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments within your body means that a slight misalignment may impact your back, neck, shoulders, or extremities. These orthotics are billable to insurances depending on the patient’s plan.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been practiced as a medicinal treatment for thousands of years. Originally used by the Chinese over 4,000 years ago.

As a method of assisting the human body in healing itself and improving bodily functions,

Acupuncture has proven enormously successful in bringing relief from a multitude of illnesses and conditions of pain related problems such as arthritis, back, neck, knee and shoulder pain, muscular injuries, sciatica and carpal tunnel. It has also been proven to be effective in the treatment of smoking cessation

Food Sensitivity Testing
